I've bought an aeroplane!

Wow - that's nuts. Didn't know people made kit planes. Hope you don't have a mystery jar of nuts/bolts at the end like when I build stuff! :D

A few left over parts.....ahh...likely just a few extras....no big deal..... :P
 
Yeah, after doing Jet Engine Maintenance for a few years, if you don't have extra parts you didn't do it right :poke: :poke: :poke:
Just kidding.
That's just epic building a plane, I love it.
Don't forget, the wings go on the plane after it's outside :poke: (unless of course the wings will fit through the garage door)
 
Quick update:

Things are progressing reasonably. We have had a few issues with missing parts and poor quality components.

Most problems now overcome. But getting her in the air by April is not realistic anymore. We are aiming for June.

I'm up for anything once.. unfortunately if it didnt go too well that's all I'd ever do anyway 8)

Can I stick with a long zoom instead ? :D Still very much looking forward to the result, and all the photos of it's smiling owners :thumbsup:

We hope to fly in about 2 weeks time. Maybe even before the end of the month. Fingers crossed :thumbsup:

Yep - stick with the big lens if that works for you.

Can always take you up for 5-10 minutes see how you feel ... happy to take it easy.

Our first flight will be low key but from there on in things will be open. I hope to take as many people up as as possible. All Z4 owners obviously extra welcome!
