Shopping around for cars twice the price its becoming very apparent this interior is a bit special.. Im even now looking at 35i e89s :?

They really got this one right.. maybe I shouldn't have sold that Stormforce cover

Completely agree, when I was deciding what to go for I kept coming back to an e89 because nothing else had an interior that felt as special, in my very humble opinion of course.

I was very tempted by a V8 Mustang... interior is as cheap as my Focus.

Mercedes SL/SLK... Good quality interior, but more than a bit dull.

Jaguar F-Type... interior looked good when it came out 4(?) Years after the e89, but has not aged well.

Porsche Boxster... Nice-ish interior on the 781(?) but like the SL, not very interesting.

And they're all going to cost 50% more than the Z4, minimum.

Not meaning to slag off other cars, I feel a little envy about each of those cars for different reasons when I see one go past, but for me the interior in the e89 is just a better design.

They seem to wear a lot better than the e85/86 as well, much better quality

I see a welcome back post soon😂🤣😂

Had a cream leather interion on my Crimson e89. Just have to make sure you use plenty of leather polish and conditioner to stop denim jeans marking it. Otherwise looks great

Melbourne Red exterior + Ivory White interior = more compliments about any car I've had (and I've had some good ones).

The key, I think, is the Ivory White, but I'm still not quite sure why.

I would be quite happy with that spec.. the Ivory white interior is very special and was the only one I wanted when i was seeking out an e89 and its going to be rather tricky to replace

  Drive it you’ll buy it :P

I had this interior in my old Havana E89. Was probably the main reason I bought the car. I have black now on Kansas leather, very boring ... Really miss the ivory Napa , just made it a very nice place to be in ….

Bank holiday weekend is a great time to test drive a car!

I can't think of any other car i want. A few have asked me if i would replace it. With what though.
A bit old man beige, but with any luck i will grow into it. Light airy interior.

Been 9 years so far and other local DSB owner still has his from new 2009. In fact seeing that car, i bought mine.
Never has his roof down though, bit odd.
