ITV4 NOW - Silverstone Classic 2013

Thought about posting this too. I just cringe watching these cars race on the edge, that guy taking that le mans Porsche wheel to wheel to the back marker!!! Bonkers

I've just returned from a test day today at Donnington Park in my Race Mini. There was loads of these classics there today including 4 of the F1 cars. It was open pit lane so I was on the track at the same time, a bit scarey at times, but fun and certainly an experience. The classics are racing at Donnington next weekend.
 
I remember marshalling at a Donington event a few years back, where an AM DBR1 came off backwards at the first corner and completely crushed the rear.

I was almost crying for the owner, but it turned put that it was an owner driver, and he was he keeps 3 bodies...one on the car, on ready to fit, and one being repaired.

I wished I knew about that,it's just down the road from me,well about 8 mile :lol:
Been off work today as well.Sometimes you can hear the cars and bikes going round the track if the wind is blowing this way at home.
I didn't hear any F1 cars,and they are LOUD! :thumbsup:
