its that roof again!!

Hi folks

About this time last year my roof motor failed, which I managed to change fitting a new motor. The roof worked fine all summer however last night I decided to cycle the roof just to keep everything moving over the winter. NOTHING!

The light goes orange when I press it that is all, the windows don't move and no noise is heard the the motor. I have visually inspected the shelf in the boot and it seems located in the switch and the arm is present on the switch and clicks when I press it by hand.

Any ideas on what I should do next?

Hi there

I think I may have solved it, I took out the shelf and removed the switch. I then used masking tape to hold it down and hey presto the roof goes down, so i just now need to find out why the shelf isnt moving the switch, thanks for the suggestion matey
