Its official -you cant buy footwell lights from BMW

Hi all -as above, my stealer rang me back today and told me BMW had told them there is no such thing as a retro fit footwell lighting kit,but are these not the same as the boot light?

if wiring already there why does it need to be retro fit? surely you can just buy the lights as a spare?

Hi mate,thats the words the salesman used no retro fitting kit available and no known part number,but thinking about it like i said above are the boot lights the same size?-someone mentioned getting an led set but i was after a plug and play type job.

pretty sure they are the same. When I replaced all the bulbs in my car, I remember the boot light being the same as the footwell. eg same connector/ shape. I didn't sit put the boot light beside the foot well lights to measure exact size - but they did look the same to me.
