My car was at the dealers for some work and I went to pick it up this evening in my Wife's Insignia. Parked really carefully in the middle of a parking bay nose first. Space to my right is free.
A stuffed shirt "Exec" looking type in a 3 series? estate makes a couple of attempts to reverse into the vacant spot whilst talking into a hand held mobile. His final attempt is pretty piss poor to say the least. His passenger side doors are miles away from the car on his other side. I finish listening to something on the radio and he watches me struggle to get out of the car being extra careful not to touch doors. I probably should have said something but didn't. He says nothing. Doesn't offer to move his car.
I walk towards reception and glance back to watch him have another go at parking his BM a bit further away from the Insignia because he is too sodding fat to get out.
I don't know where he went but he didn't go into reception. I would have quite liked to have said something to him in there!
If nothing else he did a splendid job reinforcing the stereotype.
