After an eighteen and a half week wait my car is nearly here! I'm collecting it on Saturday, it's going to be a fun day! I thought it would never arrive! Pictures to follow upon receipt of said vehicle...

oh and it's a 35i - in Valencia Orange 8)

crumbs you must be going mental I had to wait just over 12 weeks and that seemed like forever (i am a 5 yr old at heart) , think you will enjoy it though

I've been through stages of excitement, anticipiation and mild annoyance but now of course am back to excited! (Also a young boy at heart!).

Valencia Orange!!

Good ... well at least I'll have a few days to pick up a new pair of sunglasses before the pics are posted. 8)

Looking forward to it!

Today was the day! She's all mine! :) The weather held off for most of the morning and the roads were dry, but around 5 miles from the dealership the heavens opened. A full deluge ensued creating puddles everywhere! What a shame... Anyway it couldn't dampen the day too much. The detailer was just finishing off when I arrived... It looked fantastic (and feels fantastic too- if you like that sort of thing  ) I got the guided tour of all the toys and normal operating procedures including the first start up, the 3 litre straight six sounded beautiful reverberating off all the walls in the delivery suite. Then I signed all the paperwork, paid my money and off we went into the rain! Not quite the first drive I'd have chosen but we can't have it all, I'll be able to take her out later in the week when the weather's cleared up a bit. First impressions are really really good, it feels so luxurious in the cabin and slightly less spacious than my last E85 but I quite like that, makes you feel more involved in the experience. The power delivery is beautifully smooth and there is lots and lots of it, even limited to 4500 rpm and mild throttle openings. So without further ado, here's some rubbish phone pics from collection. Some decent ones to follow in the next few days weather dependent...

I bet you're thrilled. First person I've seen debadge a 35i.

I like the subtle look, and it really shows off the lines of the car. Besides, the twin tail pipes announce enough

Interior pics I shall take, it really is a lovely place to be! A brilliant limited edition option...

Aww ... she's gorgeous.
The black roof almost fooled me into thinking it was a ragtop for a sec. Too shiny though.

That is a killer combination.
