So what do you think - guilty or not?

No, the most boring game in the world not understood my many ...

They are only as guilty as the next man who is offered a huge sum of cash to manufacture a scenario for betting gain. Sadly it's endemic in all sports.

In principle they should be charged but it won't change a thing.

Hell if I was a lowly paid cricketer offered significant £'s where I wouldn't even have to throw a game simply give away a couple of no balls I would be tempted.

You sure? I seem to remember pictures of an Aston Martin and that cricketer turned politician seemed wealthy enough because of it?

Some crickets do get paid significant sums I agree. However, if you look at Pakistans case for example, their "elite" players are paid circa £30k p/a while the rest are on approx £13k p/a. Obviously bolstered by club wages and possibly sponsorship (likely to apply to the elite only).

Now get a crime syndicate to offer £30k to a non star player for a couple of no balls in an over and there is the problem. Impossible to get away from.

God help the next Marbles World Cup. Have you seen what they get paid ?

+1. Even worse than football, rugby, tennis, golf, etc. I only watch sports on wheels. :D

Too right. You wouldn't find any cheats in the Tour de France :P
Those cyclists are mental. They are travelling so close to each other at such high speed with only a helmet on their head. If one at the front falls off, no way the others following behind won't crash. It will be much higher chance of getting hurted seriously than other motorsports. I think those guys have much better form than the top footballers' paying £1,200 a night for sex.

Watch cricket, rather have my spleen removed with a wooden spoon and skip the anaesthetic thanks

However didn't JB do well today, interesting race tomorrow me thinks :driving:

The tomorrow race will be between Ferrari and McLaren. JB said he will rather quit F1 if he is asked to become a support driver in the team (if drivers' championship is out of reach). Cool.
