Setting off at 10am to pick up the car :D

With only 2000 miles on the clock is there a running in period of the engine that must be done?

Thank you all.

It's the white 2.0i sDrive M Sport with red interior.

The car is for my gf, I simply be the one taking care of it, tweaking it and posting here of course :)
I think it's all beginning to sink in with the gf and she is getting sentimental about giving up her faithful E85 2.2 roadster tomorrow. From no where this new car has turned up and all knows is that her car will be going all of a sudden.
The dealer is about 140ish miles away so the gf and I going take it easy driving up.

p.s - just realised since I joined this forum I haven't spent any time on mine!! :headbang:

be careful they'll be a 35 iS parked next to that 2.0 if you spend too much time on here ... And No TT.

Have a great day tomorrow

There is one thing that is worrying me a little. She loves her 6 pot and like me a fan of bigger engines and originally wanted to change her E85 2.2 to either a E85 3.0 or M version. Then a simple test drive in the E89 has changed it all.

Just hoping that she dont regret the switch from a 6 pot to 4 +turbo.

Know what I mean??

Are BMW seriously including painted farm animals with new car purchases nowadays?! They are getting desperate. How will it fit in the Z???!

Good luck and enjoy the day to you and the gf Ajay, roof down on the way back so everyone can see the beaming smiles! Look forward to pics later...

I made that transition recently, it's painless! Went from a sdrive 23 to sdrive 28.

Enjoy your drive, I love my new zed.
