I love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs... Not quite the tune I'd rally through peril-strewn canyons at breakneck speeds, but that is nice game video. Amazing how far home systems have come.

Heck, I remember as a kid when I though "Spy Hunter" at the arcade – complete with kickin' Peter Gunn theme music – was the apex of video game automotive coolness! :lol:

Sure the cabinet art looks like a a Lotus Esprit, but I'm sure that's an 8-bit Z4 with turbo flames, oil slicks and guns blazing!

aah spy hunter... that takes me back... used to play it wherever possible! Avoid the black baddies with wheel spikes, drive into the water to turn into a boat. Good times.
 
i got DIRT2 last week from blockbuster, 19.95 bargain! special offer apparently. that was xbox 360 though so not sure about ps3?

Need for Speed: Shift is also pretty good. Not at all like past NFS games. Much more Forza than Fast and Furious. Spa, the Nordschleife, Laguna Seca, Silverstone all present but it still needs more tracks.... Oh it also has the Z4MC! :D
 
il take alook in on the way home, one just down the road. i have some crappy games i took a gamble on on ebay to trade in.

can you customise the cars etc etc?
 
Just got dirt 2 from blockbusters - £20 pre-owned.

traded in a few crap games that i took a gamble on and only ended up paying £4.50 for it.

played a couple of races last night and it seems a decent game :thumbsup:
 
I'll check the used sections at the weekend! (I never buy my games new! Wait till the next fad game comes out and the must-have kids get that and sell the previous game cheap! Bit like my cars these days actually!!). :P
 
Buy yourself a wheel for Dirt 2. Has the absolute best wheel force feedback physics (physics ?) I've ever experienced in a game.
