Since the sun has been out this week I've actually noticed how disgracefully dirty my car is. I must go get it washed. Unlike a lot of forumites, I don't have the patience of the three bucket method and generally too lazy to find the time to wash it myself anyway. But ill take it to a preferred hand wash place and they can do it. Anyway, as you probably realise there's no point to this thread other than to publicly berate myself for letting my p&j get in such a mess :)
 
I'm looking at mine in the office car park now and its dusty as hell. I spent a good couple of hours cleaning it last saturday and it was gleaming. This sunshine makes it looks hlike its uncared for :( . I am going to wash it when I get home this evening :D
 
and black is the worst jdm - even a little bit of dust and as you say it looks dirty! sometimes wish I didnt have black because of this :(

Er, we got two black ones. Just wash it! :P Love 'em shiny-shiny :D
 
I wash it all the time as I like it sitting a million dollars - but then you see every little blemish..stonechips, scratches etc. its a visicous circle with black. never again for me.

I said that 3 black cars ago! Ours are gorgeous in black...and will stay-so :wink:
 
I love mine newly washed and have been doing it every weekend since I bought it. I gave it an extra wash yesterday because of all this good weather but allready its covered in dust.

Black is the worst for looking dirty but by far the best when its shiny :thumbsup:
 
Silver looks good even when dirty...as mine often is.

My black A6 Avant never looks clean, even when it is...!?! :-)
