But we finally won a penalty shoot-out - I suppose we were always due to win one eventually! :rofl:

Mind you we were far from convincing - a 1-0 lead is never worth defending. Go out and win the match!
 
Watched it in work. What a great atmosphere as 100+ men cheered and celebrated 8) good times.

Can't believe we won on penalties :lol:
 
Very worried at full time but penalties win for us thank god wow they were dirty :thumbsdown:
 
Hey - I didn't know "Hugging Harry Kane" was a penalty. Seems every time he's near the ball, someone is giving him a squeeze or a head lock.
No matter how much you think England is in over their heads...Thank God you aren't German ..Dutch or worse ...Italian !!!

I cant see England getting a better chance at it. The real big guns are out and their next opposition have just gone into extra time and also have gone to penalties in their last two matches, demonstrating where each taker likes to place their penalty :wink:

Nice to see a fairly honest game with no rolling around and faking injury too.

Cautiously optimistic!

I have a team of work colleagues here at the office who cannot stop talking about anything else at the moment! We're shutting up shop slightly earlier tomorrow so everyone has time to get to wherever they are going to watch the match in good time before kick off.
 
Hopefully we can beat Croatia and go on to win the final but if we don’t I hope that they lose to a better team not due to a poor performance
