It’s Been a Long Long Road

Hi all

My story begins about 5 or 6 years ago whilst driving up to Scotland on a golfing trip, somewhere on the M74 at about 7.30 in the morning a white sports car passed us at a rate of knots.
At the the time I had no idea what it was, so upon returning home did some research and discovered the Z4MC in Alpine white and my search began.
Over the years I’ve viewed and test drove quite a few (obviously not white) but the car or the deal never felt right, maybe the memory of the Alpine White flying up the M74 could very well have been the reason.
But finally last Friday the stars aligned and my search ended when I was able to pick up my new Alpine White Z4MC
Over the years this forum has been invaluable for myself in gaining knowledge on the Z4 although I’ve been lurking for quite a long time, and for this I would like to say a big THANK YOU.

Congrats. That's a long time to wait. You can't beat Alpine White, no matter what others may say. Guess what colour mine is?

You did well to find one in Alpine White as it seems only 18 in that colour were registered in the UK!

Welcome along. Interestingly I was heading home up the M74 one day when a silver grey coupe when past me at speed. This was around 2006 and I’d never seen one before. I was driving my TR6 at the time which I finally sold last year and found my Coupe. Happy days.
