ok from my last topic, 500 miles and a few weeks later the same warning light has come on again on my way home from the gym tonight...... last time one of the tyres was down to 29psi..... if this is the case again, i think im going to have to take it to bmw to check and see if the 326 alloy is cracked

any suggestions on how to play this should it be the case?

cheers stark

lol at tim. i can only go bigger :P

well i didnt manage to get across to bmw due to work but i did get to the petrol station. all of the tires were still at the correct psi aside from the osr which was down to 27 for no obvious reason...... i will get it checked out over the next few days to determine whether its a puncture or a cracked alloy

Could it just be a leaking valve? Maybe try swooping the cores over to check. It worked for me on a Z3 a few years ago, when I thought I had a puncture. Got the valve changed and all was okay.

NO! Just take the dust cap of and put a film of spit across the top and watch for the bubble!
