Got the new Z today. Too dark for decent pics but I'll try at the weekend

Mineral grey, walnut interior, 19 inch 326 alloys. Comfort pack, hot seats sports suspension deleted. 28i

Initial impression are a much more comfortable ride, significantly improved acceleration and lighter driving controls

Can't work the DAB though

Forget about DAB, yesterday's technology that never works. Every two miles the transmission goes blank and you have to select another channel, only very few works for more than a few miles.

The DAB in my 5 series works perfectly. Odd.

Picking up another toy tonight. Replacement for the merc. Winter 4x4.

Indeed a lovely looking car. I've been looking at the below recently. I'm just not sure about the darker walnut (or whatever BMW call it in the 6) colour, looks a bit like poo on the pictures. Still, I like the car overall;

While tempted by the M Sport version of this, they're a good deal more expensive and I'd rather have the SE suspension anyhow on a cruiser.

When I first read 'walnut interior' my reaction was OH NO like a 60's Jag. Photos show how wrong I was, looks really good.
