Its an emotional good-bye!

After 18 months of proud ownership of a glorious 3.0 E85 Zed, I will be saying farewell to her next week.

I have loved the car, all you guys on here have been great with a wealth of knowledge too! The reason I am selling?

I made the mistake of test driving an SLK 55 AMG and fell in love with that v8 soundtrack! After the test drive I needed it in my life! :? I feel like a traitor, like a guy who has cheated on his wife (by part exchanging the Zed) however I was offered a good fair price. Mercedes are also giving me 2 years free servicing with the AMG.

An emotional good-bye to my fellow Zed-meisters, I'm leaving here with a heavy heart. :(

A friend of mine has a slk 55 amg and he is very happy with it and I am sure you will be too :thumbsup: I love V8`s loads 8)

The SLK 55 on the test drive blew me away! It's an awesome piece of kit, 510nm of torque! My biggest challenge will be keeping my driving license!
Will be back to post a proper review at some point. I will miss the Zed though, a stunning car & still looks fantastic!

my mate has a 55amg think an sl not slk , , that thing has got grunt , doesnt seem to rev , it just pushes u back and doesnt stop pulling, he has had a celtic tuning remap and speed limit delete, he is now looking at changing the pulley on the blower and that is supposed to give you another 80 brake !!! enjoy :thumbsup:
