Mine was an ABS sensor. Gave up the ghost after I had to hammer the old disc off the hub. Not keen on shockwaves it seems.
However, I did get a code to tell me which one it was?
Anything else relevant? Did you hit any big puddles or potholes?
Been through any muck on the road?
Basically anything that could affect a sensor.

My drive is a little bumpy, it came on when I came to a stand and thinking of it..did go down a hole on the rear at that moment
I've only got a basic reader (torq app+adapter)so I'm thinking it doesnt have the ability to detect the code..
Last years mot did come up.with the pads being low,but I've only done a thousand miles in the car since then..and I'm not sure this would give this error.

Pad wear sensor is something different entirely. I'd definitely be leaning towards muck on an abs sensor, or possibly the jolt has caused it to fail.bluepain said:
Really need to get a better reader on it to identify which corner though.
Have the lights reset? If so, it may have been a transient fault only.
My E92 had exactly the same come up a few weeks ago (ABS, DSC and TPMS). It turned out to be the battery low on charge. It may be a sensor or something worse but it is definitely worth charging the battery right up first.bluepain said:
I read on another forum that if the battery loses enough charge (it's not a lot), it can 'forget' information from wheel sensors so presumes a fault.
Another trick I heard was once the battery is fully charged turn the steering from lock to lock, this can reset sensors in the wheels.
I charged my battery started the car, drove for 20 yards and all lights went out and haven't come back with no faults logged.

Had a similar issue on my E46, think it's similar set up, usual diagnosis is wheel speed sensor or reluctor ring as mentioned already but...
because you're not getting any codes I think it is likely the abs pressure sensor might be your problem. Link to one below but check PN:s first.
Can be checked by a decent diagnosis obd unit or similar, there are 2 and pressure should be the same. If not then you'll be needing a new one

Could be wrong (hopefully Colb will be along to correct me) but I think the tyre pressure light would lead me away from the ABS sensor.Zforbes said:

It's all about sharing experiences, obvious things already mentioned so giving other ideas for checking things out.
I had to check all the sensors and rings when I had a similar problem, didn't find any issues so ended up with some serious head scratching before a good friend of mine pointed me to the pressure sensors and that was the Eureka moment in my case
I use INPA on my laptop but it's not the easiest but you do get a lot of info once you work out how to use it. It's a free download just need to buy a cable. Loading it on the pc is a job in itself but there are youtube videos if you are planning this route.
Havn't tried any other handheld a d don't know what they are capable of.
My mate who diagnosed my E46 issue is a tractor, agricultural specialist and what he used was bob on think it was a snap on but way pricey.
Need something user friendly and reasonable myself so keeping an eye on this for the recommendations

When the battery died in my Z4 last March I got it running with a jumper-pack and got those same 3 lights. After I fitted the new battery they stayed on so I took it to my BMW Indy and he got rid of them by resetting the steering angle sensor.
Dying batteries seem to cause random warning lights on BMWs so I'd start by checking your battery's health first otherwise even if you get them cleared they may well come back!

I had the same issue but it was ABS, BRAKE and DTC lights that came up. On line (not in this forum) I found somebody with a video that tells you to disconnect the battery (negative pole, overnight), and then reconnect and turn the steering wheel three times fully. Go for a drive and the lights will go off.
Total witchcraft but, to my surprise, it worked. This was the second time this happened to my Z (after a lengthy period of not being driven) and the first time the dealership told me the DSC module had to be replaced. Which in the USA means $2400, just for the module. So the spin-the-wheel trick might be worth trying.
My battery is only a few years old,but I'll try charging it,and check its voltage,
I forgot to mention I haven't driven the car for around a month,and this was the second day of use.. so it could be low battery..
But I am sceptical.
But I'm still gonna get a nee reader.
And check the sensors ..
