Well i have been a keen Forum blogger for the last few months and have been updating everyone with the ups and downs of trying to buy and insure my 1st z4. The insurance is set and ready to go and i have finally purchased my z4 :P

Il be uploading pics when i pick it up at the weekend, and am very happy with the car, especially as i have got spec i didnt expect to have, such as Sat Nav, Bluetooth Phone, Xeneons, Headlight washers, Cruise Control 6cd changer :)

The only down side is that i am not a fan of the alloys that come with the car, and are the 17" alloys that i can only describe as looking like fan blades. The multispoke alloys. They do have 4 brand new run flat tyres though, but feel that an upgrade would be nice :) If anyone is selling some 18s please let me know :)
 
Well done mate, its a good feeling isnt it :D I got mine just before christmas and im still grinning.

Im in a similar situation with the wheels, ive got the 17" propellar wheels aswell and was thinking of getting some 18's. I do actually quite like the wheels I just dont think they suit the zed particularly well. Some ellipsoids would be nice 8)

Its gonna be a long wait to the weekend for you pal but it will be worthit, ENJOY.
 
They will be turbines and I quite like them, but wouldn't swap for my 108's

easy to swap anyway unlike the other options you have already, so a good choice.

I had to do a google search for "TSW Stealths" but can now see what you mean :lol:

most people like the 108's... one reason to be different IMO..

Il post pics early next week if not sunday :) but sounds as though you know which alloys im talking about. I just feel that the car will benefit a lot more from some 18s....... would really like some ellipsoids but from what i can gather from internet searches etc, they are expensive and hard to get hold of. I am considering m6 reps, are reps ok ?? I have been looking on eBay :thumbsup:

You are either younger or older than me but they were the dogs danglies at one time with the Max Power crowd when I was 18 or so (im 33 now). I saw so many of them back then that I cant avoid it now and it just looks wrong to me.

now BBS RS-GT's they would look good!
 
I had a Nova SRi when I was 19 so you are already well ahead of me :D

The BBS's are too expensive for me too, as Im an old fart and object to paying that much for something I will inevitably kerb at some point :D

They may well look very nice - just a pity that they're such a design disaster. :x
I refer of course to the corrosion problems.

thats precisely why i got 108's, the old stealths on my MX5 looked great.
