It's a hard life being a pensioner !

Off to see the WHO at the O2 next weekend ( thought this may be our last chance to see them - one or both of us might be dead by the next time they plan to tour )

The following weekend we're off on our annual Greek fix - two weeks of lying on a sunbed , drinking Mythos and eating out every night at our favourite tavernas.

This year will take one of those new fangled tablets to stay in touch what's going on on here !

I feel your pain ...
Retired life ...Well it takes some getting used to.
Like not have to do sfa and still getting that cheque in the bank.
Avoiding weekends cause too many people are out and about.
No hassles and no problems...

Only planning is around those pesky doctor's visits ...
You say they have a "tablet" that keeps you in "touch" ?
Sweet !
Gawd the pharmacy makes some great dope !
:driving:

Cheers

Yeah being a pensioner is tough but hey someone's got to do it, not sure which keeps me sane the pills or the booze. The great thing is you don't have to worry about going anywhere on bank holidays or over Easter, leave that to the great unwashed, we can pick and choose when and where we go.

We seem to shoot over to France quiet a lot, our Champagne and Meursault run in April/May is a yearly event. And down to the Provence in September is also a fixture. For the rest we like to take time out in the winter in Florida Marco island or Naples.

All in all its not that bad ,there are some positives in reaching maturity.
