Just started an arctic survival course with work....

I've never been on a ski holiday etc

But it's so cold as soon as u step outside your nose hair freezes :o

And to think that during one of the nights I have to sleep in a snow hole...

I was in Jasper, Canada at -30, and had to remove my contacts as they were freezing in my eyes. Even uncovered hands would stick to the door handles between reception and outside. Even the beers/water we kept between the double double glazing would freeze. Then the cold caused a filling to fall out and had to have a root canal done.

Still enjoyed every minute of it though, and as soon as we'd left the town and climbed above the inversion we had clear skies and only -10 all day.
 
Remember to sleep on a raised platform in your snowhole, or you won't ever wake up....and don't forget your vent hole! :thumbsup:
