It's a Beautiful Day Out There

Well after the dank Gray rain a drizzle, here in Cornwall yesterday. We have awoken this morning, to a sharp frost and crystal Blue sky's, the sun is straining to lift it's cheerful head above the roof tops, as I peer hopefully out of the lounge window. A quick check, tells me there's a couple of feet of rolling surf, on the North Coast. So it's time to crack the ice from the Garage door, gently wake those 343 straight six ponies and venture out. (TC On).

Have a good one all, I'll report back, but for now it's time for :driving:

Haha sounds like a good idea

I was down your way yesterday with Tricia and the dogs ( not in the Zed obviously) but did the route over Exmoor we did in the summer - went a walk with the dogs once we were up top ------ man it was BL??dy freezin though

Sea up at Lynmouth was grey and wild horses everywhere - hope its better for you today

Much better here today thanks.

It was an interesting drive up this morning. Staring with ice on the forecourt, at the local Shell garage, first thing. They were waiting for contractors to come out a grit it. I'm guessing the till staff aren't qualified, or insured for such difficult duties.

Took it easy all the way up. Heading back, around lunch time, was an absolute hoot. The roads were so quite, which I wasn't expecting. Just the odd cool dip in the road still requiring respect, to prevent an unwanted grass track session. Pulling away from each and every junction demanding concentration, but delivering maximum smiles per inch, as the rear Pilot Sports gently played with the still glistening tarmac. Great fun, now time to go wash my baby and tuck her away until tomorrow. :D
