For a DIYer Taz i,m quite impressed ,, the string jutting out is a bit of an issue though ? Think a decent carpenter could salvage it without too much trouble .

the bit sticking out was sorted after the stairs were fitted lol, i kept tripping up over it and i knew it just did not look quite right lol
the stairs are built in 2 section, ie the twist and the flight
a joiner would probably do it completely different

Impressive work Taz! You are a man of many talents. I stayed in bed till 3pm to catch up on my insomnia. No baking/cooking for me. Was easier to drive home to get fed by parents. Still living the eternal student life!
