Italian Stallions in for a detail

Mazza Granturismo S and a 612 Scaglietti in for a full detail over the last couple of weeks.

The Maserati was just impossibly stunning. Sounded like a nest of angry hornets as I pootled it into work. The 612 by contrast was very refined you could tell it had a thumping great whack of torque (and at 540 bhp you can understand why!) but it was happy driving along very sedately.

At idle in the unit when given some throttle it literally shook from side to side and started to sound like it had emerged from the bowls of hell!

Lovely metal there, chap!
Just love the concave front grill on the Maser.

I must admit the Ferrari doesn't do a lot for me but the Maserati was utterly stunning

Lovely stuff! Massively prefer the Mazza for some reason!

Take this as a query rather my being an arse (fellow Obsessive Car Detailer) but the Mazza's arches - pre dressing or just difficult to get looking clean?

It's that felt type material that just loves to collect loads of road detritus but can't be dressed. That's after about 4 jet washes!

Really needs wheels off for a proper clean with brushes but these are for a dealer who wants to spend X amount so something's have to be put into priority.

I HATE THAT STUFF! Why oh why. Can't remember which of my parents cars had it but it was just after I'd caught the detailing bug. Nightmare!

Anyway, as said, on the rest!
