it doesn't get any deeper

Well, I took some photos yesterday of before and after using an electric buffer (purchased at Autozone for 30 dollars - pretty cheap huh?!). I could see a very small difference, but I don't know that it will show in the photos. For an old car and for it being a very light color, I think this is as deep of a reflection as I can get. I really clayed, prep'd and waxed with a very high-quality kit, if it can get better, it wouldn't be by much. It was an overcast day during all pictures, taken under my carport.
The first two are before, the 2nd two are after buffing. What do y'all think?

Before:

And after:

Could we have some action shots please? I assume this was done straight after the pool

Me thinks the the pickup is feeling a bit left out at this point. :stir:

All that quality time with the Z. Anyone can take the car to a detailer and have it done. Kudo's to you and your effort.

Look'in good on all accounts. :happyclap:

looks shiney in all four pics :) .... MUppet like shiney things

It looks great. If you had parked it on the driveway and taken shots with the sun on it, it would've looked shinier. Can always throw on a layer of canauba if you want it to be glossier/wetter looking.

Yea, my PU is in desperate need of some shine work, but it IS an old pickup and does all the dirty work around the property. Muppet would not be happy.

Thanks for the cookies! I actually enjoy being outdoors and doing things myself. It was good 'bonding' time with the Z.

You really need to get your butt to HC and pick up on this stuff from the experts (me being one of them).

Yea I know  , it's a bit of a stretch for me this year. I may be able to drive up just for the day or something, it's really not that far.

I may try carnuba wax or something, Zaino's really great for darker colored vehicles but it hasn't been reccommended to me a lot, except by a few - again, mostly folks who own darker Z's. I could not have prep'd any better, at least from a lay-persons perspective. I'm pretty happy with it, really what I want now is a clear-bra.

You need Zaino. AIO and Z2Pro and CS.

Agreed. Girl you need to hook up with Zaino 8) She looks good but you'll be amazed what a little Zaino can do.

thanks Sizzle, appreciate the compliments  . I can get a better reflection off my 19 year-old trucks' blue center with plain 'ol carwash then I can with this silver, damn what a bitch! But silver is my favorite color. Just part of it.

:worthless:

FNI, The Zed really looks nice. Definately some improvement in the shine there. Nice work! Wanna fly up and do mine? I'll have some IBC here for you if you want... and I'll take some action pics for the boys... 8)
