Had just the usual it's rained since I washed the car light watermarks on it when I got in yesterday.... not these massive dust patches! I can only conclude it rained dust!

That's the best thing about having a yellow car. Doesn't show up but is often there.

There was a big fire yesterday just off the M60 motorway,it was a recycling plant..

It covered cars in ash for a 10 mile radius......Our customers cars included,we sent them to the valeters before they were due for pick up!

Quite often sandstorms in North Africa pick up very fine dust which then falls in rain over Europe leaving those classic dust smears.

Same here in Northampton! Wondered what the hell had happened when I left work car was covered. Had to give it a quick wash didn't like it!

i've cleaned mine yesterday  next wash only on monday ,until then it will be dirty

Had this rain overnight on Poole. Seem it before bit this was particularly bad.

My car was pretty clean until this :(

Four cars all freshly washed, now look the same covered in the sandstorm :headbang:

I was blaming a neighbour having some work done

Andy still putting your Zed in your small garage? I've now housed my Polo in mine due to size and left Zed on drive. I can't risk damaging the Zed manoeuvring it in, hence why it was covered in this stuff.

Mine hasn't been washed in almost a month  bit of dirt never hurt anyone.

I rather enjoy seeing the speed lines on the bonnet after driving it through dirty rain.

Mine was washed sunday... And looks the same... Think its the dust which was evently settle on the wax which got disrupted by the rain.
