My car was advertised with BMW Assist i have now owned her for a couple of weeks and getting more familiar with the screen.

Assist is greyed out which i assume should'nt be with or without bluetooth on.

SMS Texts should be there but there not is this a phone compatible problem (blackberry 9000)

Spare key is dead it fits the ignition i have ran the car for 100 miles with this key but still dead (MD ?)

No other problems with the car it really pulls in the lower gears pinning you to the seat :D

Kept up with the supercar drivers today :D

It's got more torque than my Tuscan and looking good so far

I think BMW assist is available through subscription only. As far as I'm aware the ability to receive and send text messages via bluetooth was removed from BMW's some years ago due to safety concerns.

You will need to register for BMW assist if it is still under subscription with your car.

Either speak with your dealer to register under your name or you can call the number on the BMW assist website found via the main BMW website.

Animal, my mate had a Tuscan and a T350 - do you think the ///M pulls as hard?
Pulls harder it puts you well into the seat change upto 3rd and again back into the seat :D :D :D TVR never did that for me.
Maybe the torque on the bm is lower but i also think its a confidence thing over the engine.
No worries with the Z4 thats why i bought it.

Yeah I was just interested as I can't decide either, I never drove the Trevors, was only a passenger, not been a passenger in mine yet. Don't think I want to be either :o

Nothing (for the money) will sound like a TVR

You always get noticed in a TVR ive hardly been noticed in the zed :(

I had worries over the engine reliability and the wife would'nt travel in the Tuscan or the T350 but was ok in the chim.

The T cars are a handfull and can end up in tears very quickly you have more control in the zed.

Too early to say if i would go back to a TVR they do have something that other cars fail to deliver. :)
