Issues with de badge?

I know there are exceptions to the rule but it often seems that its the base cars which get debadged. In the case of the Z4 that would be the 4 cylinder 2.0ltr models.

Indeed , i recently debadged our 520d off the rear tailgate yet never felt the urge to do the same with the badge on Z4MR bootlid

Definitely a marmite job, I’ll not rush into it just gauging opinion I personally like it without but my Mrs says keep them on I must say they remind me of an old car and without it looks more subtle

Never been a fan of the rear "Z4" badges or the side wing ones , always removed from any Zs ive bought , as for the "how to remove" part .
Always found a steaming kettle held under the badge has it loose enough to pull off in seconds , the residue comes off with a bit more steam & wonder wipes followed by some polish & wax .
The monaco blue looks great btw

I have very recently removed the badges from my E89 and it does look much better. When I removed them I used dental floss and then used WD 40 to remove the residue then a quick going over with a clay bar and then wax to finish.

i ended up with a carbon black car but I was intending getting a blue z but it went pear shaped but every cloud as my carbon one was a lot cheaper and actually looks nice, got the black engine cover and xenon lights, pdc, heated seats full history it’s a lot of car but yet to drive it really....might de badge ha ha

Looking at the E89 side badges, why wouldn't you delete them (although I haven't, so am a fine one to talk) - it's a bit cringy with the whole "S-Drive 35i" taking up half the wing. . Just having "35i" would be enough.
