Issue with front lights

Hi all,

I recently bought a Z4 coupe, one thing I noticed is the inner lamp (on the right in pic) never lights.
Am I missing something? The xenon (on the left) lights up on dipped beams, on full beams it looks like the xenon lamp gets brighter. The only part of the inner lamp that lights is the outer ring when the parking lights are on.

I'm not getting any bulb warnings on the dash.



Any ideas?

I think the inner lamp on the factory fit Xenons are dummy lights. On the halogen setup, the inner is the main beam.

That would answer my questions alright! Thanks.

I did notice the bulb type required for each lamp is written on the outside of the lens.
D2S for the xenon and H7 for the inner lamp.
