ISOFIX STANDARD WITH Z4 M COUPE?

Was standard on the very late cars. If it has the indicator light on the left hand side of the transmission tunnel (mirror image of sport button) it will have isofix.

Hi guys
I also have the isofix button .
But also some kind of steel ring type things on the passenger side sticks out between the seat pad and the backrest .
Have tried to see if they come off but can't seem to budge them ,I don't like the way they look on the seat .

That is isofix, enables baby seat to clip to then for better fit being more secure than just using belts.

They will be welded or multiple bolt fitted to the seat frame. Designed to withstand a crash so should not be possible to move them without serous dismantle effort.

Legal requirement on all new cars since 2012

Thanks everyone, from this I think it was an option as my old 58 one did not have the square metal holders for the baby seat, this is something I have to bear in mind when buying one, I am guessing the ones with isofix will be limited

Don't mess about with them , you will probably damage your car as they are a permanent fixture
