ISO 2007 3.0i automatic climate controls

Hello all,
My automatic temp control has come loose and spins all the way around so I need a replacement.
The part from my car is 64119125354 and I'd prefer the same one since some (I've read) need recoding if exchanged.
My car is a US version with the Fahrenheit controls.

Hi mate, have you taken the control unit out of the car? You can split these open, if everything internally is okay it could be an option to just buy any climate control unit and swap the 'shell'. Might help you keep costs down if you're struggling to specifically find part 64119125354.

I've got a pre-facelift, so swapped a facelift shell onto mine. This updates the look slightly, whilst keeping functionality the same (I wasn't sure if it would be compatible).

Yes I removed and disassembled it last night. The problem has something to do with the knob wont stop spinning. The electronics seem to be just fine. Mine is a facelifted car but if it works that's okay. I found one on eBay that's reasonably cheap. Physically, on the outside it looks the same. Thanks
