Islington Council have voted to add an extra £96 to the charge for a residents parking permit for diesels

First borough with a blanket 20mph limit, speed humps on main roads, "residential zones" including lots of ridiculously designed width restrictions that are set at angles, speed cameras every 750m, etc.

Nothing out of the blue especially considering some parking permits for petrol cars are £500 (just to park on the street).
