Back in my Audi TT roadster days, I had a custom shift knob from Auto Aesthetics (clicky da linky). Raffi's works were mainly geared (no pun intended) toward the Audi crowd, though he has seemed to branch out a bit. For the TT, these shift knobs were the pinnacle of craftsmanship, balance and weight, and dramatically helped smooth out the rubbery clunky shifting the TT inhereted from its VW Golf roots.
Nothing at A/A for the Z4, BUT it struck me how similar the Whalen products are... I was thinking of a ZHP... now I may have to look into a Whalen.
