The price I found was on the Fab site itself not FleaBay. Still there for on the website for £375 whether it's been sold or not.

Perhaps someone should get in touch with the Internet Police to get Fab Direct to update their listings!

Only posted the info as the thread has been active with people interested in the death of this car.

Just checked my pockets and I've definitely run out of f***s that I could give about it.

Charming!

:o

This is going the way of the conversation I just had with SWMBO....

The vultures have set in...

I've had a good look at the pics and I'm not convinced it's mine. The seat wear is fairly consistent with standard wear the Z seats crease like that so I don't think that's substantial evidence.

The wheels are the wrong colour and the calipers are definitely red mine were so orange they stood out a mile away. I also replaced the air filter before I sold it and it was a standard BMW black one.

There was no numberplate tape either but suppose that could have been added bit sold it with the numberplate holder so could have been added after.

Think it's similar to my car but not my car.

Silver grey is the most common Z4M coupe colour I think so it's not unlikely that there wont be one with tints and dark alloys.

My interior was standard too not unlikely that there will be another one like it.

I photographed it so much that it comes up in any Google image search of Z4M coupe or silver grey M coupe and like so many of the nice comments from everyone it would be easy to make a car look very similar.

Sad but these things happen. Life goes on

Here you go, third most common colour M coupé :

Still think that seat detectoring is pretty convincing, but if it's not Tom's then that's good news

Interesting to note the 2 coupes & 1 roady in Stratus grey , that is a terrific colour . PY M roady also a rare thing of beauty

Do you mean Space Grey?

I think Space Grey was introduced in 2008 and Silver Grey discontinued?

The seats are pretty convincing - almost the fingerprint of the cow! The callipers look orange on my phone too.....although less so than the air filter.
The best test would be for Tom to enter the number plate worn by his car when he sold it into a insurance database. That is if the dealer won't give him the VIN of the wrecked car.

I did indeed mean space , wasn't even aware the M came in any other shade of grey ,
Any forum members current with it ?

I think member 'Crusoe' has one of the two Space Grey M Coupe's

Silver grey wasn't discontinued, Mr W and I drive that colour... Sterling grey was discontinued, but there are no M's in status grey. The single space grey roadie is lovely, and was for sale a couple of years ago on 16.5k miles for £16.5k. Seems like a bargain now given some of the recent asking prices for higher mileage cars.

Ah ok, my mistake.
Yeah that would be right bargain now!

Have to agree, that leather looks identical. Calipers are easily painted also. Vin number would be confirmation though.
