Is this the most highly spec' d E85 3.0 SE out there ? ..... how did it's initial price get up to 47K ?

I like the seats.
 
No. For a start it's an si (sport model) not an SE, and it's not the most highly specced as it has a manual gearbox.

47k? I doubt it to be honest. My ///MC wasn't that much when new and has every option bar extended leather and Logic 7
 
I know 47k seems a massive number for a non M roadster ..... has it gone through an individual program ?

I thought Si denoted engine type rather than spec level i.e. there is an Si Sport and an Si SE.
 
Alot of "M"s stuck on non M things like logic 7, sat nav etc..

Daffy how much was your car new if you dont mind asking, just wondered since my 3.0 was £32000
 
no matter how spec'd it is, £27.500 is way over priced

i would have thought less than 20K for an 08 Z4
 
I speced my 2005 3.0 from build including extended leather and that came to £41K Only two things I did not spec was Deactivation on passenger air bag and Voice Control. How on earth did he reach £47K no mention of TV
 
Looks like a 3.0si sport to me.

Extended leather was a pricey option... mine new without it was close to 40k.

But stil no matter what that is around 10k overpriced... you could get a similarly spec'd M like that for 20k.
 
47k brand new ! you would have to be an idiot surely. nearly 50k - think of all the other cars that fall into that bracket, nearly new 911, used aston vantage v8 - the list goes on.
 
Judging by the Pics looks like the car has been bmw authorised at some point... so its probably an ex demo.

current asking price does seem.... well.............. a little above book shall we say

Cant see how it was worth anywhere near 47k new. But if thats what they paid, its just a stupid as the £27500 asking price. :roll:

Mind you that colour leather is not floating my boat..... I would want less of it, not more

Mine also has Extended 'New England leather' interior as described in this ad. But doesnt cover the centre console or role hoops either. Only the door cards, front window and map light surround, and vanity mirrors. Must be different to normal Full Extended Leather interior.
 
Hmmmm...

It's gonna be worth what people are willing to pay for it, and I don't think anyone is that stupid. Maybe a £2k premium over a like for like model if this one has a colour you really like, or spec etc... but thats it.

But i guess it's already about £10,000 over-price to start with, so waaayyyy out beyond anyone even bothering to go look.

The low mileage isn't even appetising... chances are it'll have shafted brake discs/pads and the same oil since it was new knowing BMW.
