away from the car.. mine will let me put my roof down when im fairly far away from the car (you have to hold it down).. but up seems a lot more sensitive. Probably just me

When doing this i often find the roof will stop half way down resulting in me (embarrassingly) having to climb inside and finish it with the dash button. Perhaps my key battery is just weak?

You have to keep the button held down!! You cant take off the pressure at all. If yiour finger slips off, you're right, your left with the embarassment of getting back in the car to open/close it.

And remember the aerial is in the mirror. I tend to open the roof from the front so I am "aiming" at the mirror. From the rear, it usually stops half way ...
