Is this Dream Red Oregon leather?

Hi guys,

I need to sort out some wear and tear on the drivers seat on my 57 reg 3.0 Z4.

I'm lead to believe the colour is Dream Red Oregon, can someone validate for me please?

Why don't you do that thing where you put in your VIN and it tells you exactly how your car came out of the factory. Can't remember the link now, but I am sure someone else can.

Except if you look closely it would appear the OP has extended leather - the door cards look all leather, and didn't that textured strip across the seat back only come with extended leather ?

Best to check the vin as advised...
 
Actually, the colour should be the same... It's just the type of leather that's different :roll:

Centre console doesn't look like extended though :?

That strip has always been a bit of mystery

I have extended leather but don't have this strip in my MC
 
Maybe it's a New England thing - New England seats in the link above have a different design to Oregon leather. They're all non sport seats in those examples but NE has a strip down the centre of the seat...

But then shouldnt those with extended leather have it as they come with NE?

Digressed somewhat from the OP's question... Not that it matters if going for a leather repair the colour is the same!

I usually look at doorcards, around the top of the windscreen and roll hoops to see if Extended leather.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE extended leather, my next zed must have extended leather.
