Hi everyone, been looking everywhere on this subject but couldn't find any pictures. My friend has an aero front bumper, which is in a bit of a mess, and is going to the bodyshop to get painted in the next few days.
Could someone please kindly post a picture or advise on the correct positioning of the undertray. Does the undertray just 'slide/wedge into' the middle of the center aero grille section as shown below? Or does the tray go underneath the center Aero grill?
There are 3 original holes on the undertray's front edge but there are no corresponding holes on the Aero grille for it to screw into. I notice there are various other holes in the grille, but these definitely look as if someone has made them by heating a rod and melting a hole through the grille then cable tied up.
It only really seems to go in this way, but then it leaves a protruding gap between the bumper and aero grille on top. The holes for the underside of the bumper will be drilled out in the same positions as stock (they are just fillered in the pics as the underside of the bumper required repairing). Once the original holes are drilled out from the underside of the bumper, does the bumper then just screw into the bottom of the Aero grille?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
