Is this a stock muffler?

The tips of my (new to me) 2005 z4 2.5 don't look stock, so I'm not sure if the muffler has been changed or altered.

Yes is the answer.

Pre-facelift 2.5i came with slightly squared tips.

All of the post-facelift came with round tips.

As above, looks like it's just missing the chrome tailpipe trims

The bottom ones are OEM trims. The others are machinemonkey (a member on here) specials

Heard these are now selling on the black market for around the same price when they were new!

I have the same exhaust on mine (04 pre fl).

I didn't know there were chrome tips for them! I just polished mine up :rofl:
