I'm looking a buying Swmbo a good watch and came across this site

http://www.helennewman.co.uk/

They have some good makes and at good money too, however I can't find anything out about the company, no trading address, reviews or phone number?

Is there any way of checking them out before putting in my card details?

Thanks in advance

Some serious discounting on the Omega watches :o almost makes you suspicious as the big names all seem to sell at very similar prices wherever you buy ?

Most probably fake's , http://www.helennewman.co.uk/watches-aquaracer-automatic-mens-bracelet-tag-heuer-code8906408-p-8059.html

seem's ridiculous :o against a similar genuine item http://www.amazon.co.uk/TAG-AQUARACER-CAJ2110-BA0872-STAINLESS-AUTOMATIC/dp/B004HYRFBC/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1419759754&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=Tag+heure+gents+aquaracer

AVOID !

Personally I would be a little wary
I'm not an expert, but I understood it was a legal requirement that you must provide a contact address on your web site.
In the 'contact us' section there isn't one - just an opportunity to email them.

Even if I'm mistaken, should you have an issue this would hamper any progress to sort it out

My thoughts too Andy " if it seems too good to be true etc" :|

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole Daz. No company address anywhere and they are outside the uk.

Just seen the returns policy, talks about returning shoes

Thanks, think I'll opt out

There you go.....

I ordered through helennewman.co.uk for some jewellery. No response from them regarding delivery. They have took money, won't answer emails. Complete scam. Have contacted bank to chase up and/or repay credit card money. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I ordered through helennewman.co.uk for a bracelet. And i am in the same situation as J.Graham is... No response to my emails regarding delivery information. Money has been taken of course but no news from them from 25h of November.

Same here on the jewellery site - Helennewman.co.uk
I ordered a watch . Confirmation of order came thru from helennewman.co.uk, then a second email came through from fristpay to confirm payment also.
I checked name online and discovered lots of their scams etc. I emailed to cancel order 2hrs after order had gone through. I've heard nothing. The money has gone from my account. I've repeatedly emailed them and 4 days later they have emailed me to say they have 'no record of my order on their system and that they want my payment info again to check' - not likely!. They should be stopped!!! Can nothing be done about these people?

The web domain was registered to a Victoria Noth in Oct 2014

......and the address is a boarding school in Essex, I could go deeper but I think we get the picture,

I think I started to get suspicious when they propertied to have 4837 units of Tank Francaise on stock, they probably don't make that many in a year

You would be mad to part with money for these fake watches with no company details disclosed anywhere on the website. Coupled with the way the t's & c's have clearly been written by someone with limited understanding of English.
My brother-in-law has worked in high end watch retailing all his life (including being 'The Rolex Man' at Harrods) and confirmed that these deals simply do no exist on genuine product.
Hope this helps. :D

There is a huge market for fakes apparently....e.g. 30K watch costing 5K because they are high grade...and only experts can tell the difference...just google Replica Panerai or Replica Chophard. Reputable replica resellers are open about what they are selling I.e. Grade A Replica! Whereas this site is not...
