Is this a can do,or a form of torture?

Hello guys i need your help. I have just purchased a new watch for what will be my 50th Birthday. All well and good thus far but...... my 50th Birthday is not until October 2013 :D ( all gifts greatly received ) now this is the complicaed bit. Do i allow my wife to gift wrap and hide the watch hence the torture aspect or.....do i just give in and wear it now ?
Reason was bought so early is its a limited edition and there does seem to be a lot of interest surrounding it. Watch in question is the Hamilton Pan Europ. have any of you guys or girls been in a similar situation and if so what did you do and how did you cope ? :D

If anyone is interested here is a link to watchuseek for pics and a review. Thanks in advance for your opinions and am sure some funny remarks. Steve

Exactly, only got a few months left of the world! Im planning to get myself an IWC Porsche Design watch for my early birthday. I'll slap it on my wrist as soon as it arrives tho!! :P

Someone needs to attend a wife management course

Totally understand your predicament. I would wear it anyway

Call it a Christmas present and find an even bigger one in 2013 - then at least it's still a present

Save it till next year .. it will make it more special... anyone who has ordered a Range Rover Evoque recently has got to wait almost as long..
