-That would make my zed cut out at roundabouts?-i know it sounds stupid but it never cuts out standing in traffic,although the engine seems to hunt/miss dropping the revs from time to time(2.0 2006 with 34000)-booked in at stealers next week :( -was just after a few thoughts-thanks
 
Have you tried turn the wheel when in standing traffic?

Only other thing, are you on the clutch at all when waiting at a roundabout, that you aren't in traffic? Can't see that it would be the steering.
