Is there anyone in the Bromley Area can reset please?

There is a fault ( SRS Air bag error code!) in my E85,2003 2.5lt Zed system and ive bed told that i need a specific code reader for the Z4 to both diagnose the problem and do a reset. Is thete a member a member near the Bromley,Kent would gave a code reader tag could help please...TIA

I’m too far away sorry. But I would say you need to check the codes first. If there is an actual fault it won’t simply reset

I am in Uckfield and have an Ancel BM700 but you are about 90 minutes away. Happy to lend it to you. However, a Creator 310 should be able to do the job. You can order it from Amazon. Use it and then return it for a full refund. I got one a few weeks ago, did not get on with it, and returned the item.

Good call to equip yourself with a Creator 310+ or a 410+ on ebay and Amazon circa £60 these days. Have had mine for a few years and it will read the airbag modules as well as the engine, body and chassis modules. Will show you what codes you have for the airbag system so you get pointed in the right direction to fix it. It will clear codes as long as any fault has been fixed. Handy to carry in the boot and will pay for itself first time you use it with garages charging £60 or more just to scan it these days.
