Been looking and I really like the older style of tail lights... Was wondering if anyone had upgraded to a new style and had some of these or the ones with the amber rounds in them laying around?

Wa'ya - have a dig around on the forum... Everyone who has gone the other way from pre to post facelift lights has had to either buy a facelift bumper or modify theirs. Your rears are a smooth curve on the bottom, these have a sharp angle that will leave a gap when fitted I think.

There's a growing number on here who prefer the older style, especially with a simple wiring connection allowing the whole brake ring to light up.

I have a set they are tinted at the min but that's easily removed. I'll take some pics tomorrow and pop them here

Comparing pictures of the two tail lights side by side I see what you mean Bing. Kind of got an idea thou that might be a work around, not sure without them in hand though. As this will be an experiment I wouldn't want to pay a large amount for the older tail lights. But I do like the looks of them better

As a semi-professional caster I'd be hesitant to cast auto lenses. You're not going to get a 100% perfect result (especially with the larger size of these lenses compared to that tutorial). Also the UV stability properties of the resin for an automotive environment will be dubious...
