Is there an easy way to clean the rear window? (Roadster)

I had a marathon cleaning session last weekend, about 3 hours on Saturday and another 4 or so on Sunday. Lots of vacuuming, washed down the interior, cleaned the windscreen and side windows inside and out, treated the leather seats, door panels and steering wheel and silicon shined the dashboard and surrounds. Took bloody ages.

It has just occurred to me that I didn't clean the inside of the back window, or the "parcel shelf", but it occurs to me that it's actually quite hard to get to. So is there a better way to get to clean these bits that doesn't involve taking the soft top off?

You think cleaning the back window's hard? You should try putting a sticker inside the back window! Or even worse, trying to remove a sticker from the back window...

I just pop out the wind deflector and squeeze an arm in. You have to be a contortionistm but it's reasonably easy.

This is what i use makes life much easier http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/glass-master-p-246.html

Never got my Z4 Forum discount though

I also wouldnt knell on the seats, it has been known for the pressure to bugger the sensors in them.

The prob with it is you spray the window with glass cleaner ust this tool and the bonnet is to wet so end up wrapping another M.F Towel around it to finish the job

is it any easier if you pull the seat right forward and then flip the back of the seat forward maybe? I'm not really sure??

I didn't think so, it's more the roll hoops that get in the way.

I did take the opportunity to give the interior (inc back window) a very good clean when I was swapping my seats out for heated ones. A bit of an extreme measure perhaps, but it was certainly easier to clean the back window then

Found this which is much cheaper... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HANDY-WINDSHIELD-WONDER-WIPER-GLASS-CLEANER-AS-SEEN-TV_W0QQitemZ250614806022QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3a59ce7606
