Is there a trick for activating "coming home" or is it a new electrical gremlin?

Hi,

I noticed twice that headlights in my Z are staying on when I leave and close my car.
But after a moment they turn themselves off.
Obviously the dial is vertically at 0.

I can't replicate this, but maybe there is some manual trick I'm doing for activating this?

Or maybe I just discovered a new electrical gremlin

I thought you simply flicked the headlight stalk when you got out to trigger it.

This also correlates with me leaving half of my lights on, when I leave the car. It's pretty lowered and I'm a big guy, so I often get out without any dignity, knocking the indicator stalk.
