is there a pigeon in my boot?

My new 2.0 is developing a strange cooing pigeon sound from over my right shoulder, I am sure its getting more noticeable.Is it the fuel pump?

Mine is / was the fuel pump and it's a massive job which they are replacing under warranty. The best way to tell is if it makes the noise on idle or any time you don't have your foot on the throttle. Mine seems to happen if the tank is half full or more.

I think its some sort of flap... I remember asking the dealer about it before and that was the response. You definitely can't hear it when the tank is full.
