Is There a Market For 108s?...

Fully agree 108's are a great looking wheel I had them on mine from purchase and had them refurbished at considerable expense.
12 months on I switched them for remanufactured 107's as a) I like the look of the 107's I think they suit the Zed to a tee and b) just got sick of scrutinising the 108's every time I washed the car, became a little paranoid about the possible corrosion that is enevitable and all the hassle when it does.

Interesting topic as I'm wondering about switching from 108's.

On both my current coupe and my old roadster I stripped the originals, had both inners and outers powder coated and reassembled. On both cars after less than two years the lacquer started to bubble on a number of the m7 bolt holes. Was washing my coupe the other day and noticed.. weirdly it's only on the rears.

got a spare set in the garage and am contemplating refurbishing them and having the existing set as a winter set, it's just more hassle, cost and time, and they will never be as durable as a one piece alloy.

This is the same as mine!
Only on the rears mine have just started to do it too :(

I guess it won't get much worse but it's still a pain!

I've just bought some mv1 and had them refurbished dark chrome. So my 108s are up for sale r swap added bonus I have a spare rear with a small crack in will be in on the deal. (Maybe not a bonus like) but it's there and repairable.

108s always feel a bit of a lacklustre choice IMO and seem to need contant attention before they go a bit weird. Plenty of fans of course, but if I was going to go popularist wheel I'd choose CSL style everytime. If I was going to go standard Zed OEM then it would need to be 202s of if you could find them, those gorgeous Clubsport style wheels (can't remember the number designation).

...and these for instance...

Huge market for 108s considering -

They corrode after a few years and look terrible,

If you have a nice set they are really swappable or sellable

I've been thru 5 sets in my z4 life and am currently looking for a new coupe with 108s

Nice wheels
