Is the Z4c actually a......

quote="tomscott"]I sense coupe envy from the cabriolet crew.... :fuelfire:[/quote]
Hatchback envy, surely?? :P

I don't care how much rain there is, there are always sunny intervals, and that's when the roof is down, and the real enjoyment starts, Hatchback owners can never experience that... :poke:

We've already dealt with and rubbished the hatchback jibes chaps. Keep up!!

If you're stuck for things to do why don't you scrape the moss of your cabriolets? Or might you damage your nails? :)

Interesting that I only said Hatchback owners can't enjoy the sunny weather ever, and all the Coupe owners throw their toys out of the pram.

In my younger days, I had a 3 door Golf hatchback......er I mean Coupe.......er I mean hatchback.

The choice is simple - Z4R or Z4H.

coupé [ˈkuːpeɪ]
n
1. (Engineering / Automotive Engineering) Also called fixed-head coupé a four-seater car with a fixed roof, a sloping back, and usually two doors Compare drophead coupé.

hatchback [ˈhætʃˌbæk]
1. (Engineering / Automotive Engineering)
a.  a sloping rear end of a car having a single door that is lifted to open
b.  (as modifier) a hatchback model

Sports car
A Honda NSX
Main article: Sports car
This small-size vehicle class combines performance and handling. Sometimes inspired by racing vehicles, this class ranges from lightweight derivatives such the Lotus Elise and "average consumer" focused models such as the Mazda MX-5, to heavier and more powerful models such as the Dodge Viper.
Examples of sports cars:
Chevrolet Corvette
Morgan
Porsche 911

It's true definition if you remove it's name is a 'sports car' vs the roadster which is a sports car with no fixed roof. If you can classify a coupe regardless of seat numbers then it is either, but I don't believe coupe's can only have 2 seats.

i think the real question is: Is the roadster a girls car
Which roadster - or are you bracketing E85, ///M, Alpina, E89 all togther. And, by implication, stating that the coupe is a men's only car?............. :fuelfire:
