Is the M windscreen tinted green?

I have had the unfortunate happen to my windscreen with a stone,when contacted autoglass I was asked if my windscreen was green tinted to which I said NO, however when looking up the part on the net out of curiosity it appears the screen is described as green , can anyone confirm wether or not this is the case before I end up with the wrong part !!

I have looked and I know that's the obvious thing to do I just couldn't really tell wether it was slightly tinted or if I was seeing things,I didn't know that was an option when the car was bought originally,mine has a black band about 2" right around the windscreen ,I would imagine the green tint would come down below the black at the top !!

Is it not called sun glass or something, pretty sure mine has it too.

It's called green-tinted windshield stripe I think, one of my many flimper-spec options

All modern windscreens have a light, usually green tint. The question was really does it have a green shade stripe at the top or not. The other question with luxury cars is if there is a rain sensor lens or not.

Mine has a green tinted windscreen band, it was an option, but not very good, you can hardly tell, just had a thought it may have been changed in the past for a STD windscreen! I'll have a look when I get home today

Definitely tinted green
