Is Prince Harry a bit of a t*t?

I dare say most of us have been unable to avoid the story floating around the papers at the moment. I'm glad none of the papers have run the pictures as quite frankly I don't want to stare at his ginger nuts while enjoying my breakfast.

I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. I don't think he's done anything wrong, I did worse when I was his age  (ah the memories). The problem I have is that I very much doubt his armed forces wage pays for this kind of party. The vast majority of people in the UK are having a hard time and he's off partying on taxes. Have I got this wrong? Even it is his armed forces wage we pay for that as well and does he really earn it? I mean what use is a Captain that isn't actually allowed to go to the front line and do his part even though I know he wants to.

I'm a republican so the royals aren't exactly my cup of tea, but I think the story is a mountain out of a molehill, he's a 20odd year old lad having a party with a few mates, shouldn't be any of our business what he gets up to. Hell, I spent my 18th birthday naked at the top of a fountain somewhere in Newcastle...

Not sure about Harry, but i know William as a helicopter pilot does do a fair bit, as I've got a mate in the RAF who's worked with him on the search and rescue helicopters, said he's a grounded and decent guy who just wants to get on with his job.

I think more is made of it than needs be. He was in his own time at a private weekend away. The picture was taken on a camera phone in a hotel suite, I would be asking who was invited and who (and why) they feel the need to make it public.

Personally I find it refreshing that a "Royal" behaves the same way as many of us do when we were younger

As with mowflow, I've done far worse: it's just something about swimmers that we seem to get naked more often than others

Hmm, I served 8 years in the Royal Navy, My wages were also made up of tax payers money, are you saying we should all behave like saints because the tax payer pays the wages, the tax payer is the one who is happy to fight wars from their living rooms and equally as happy to send young men into a war we shouldn't be in to die, so it would appear we are happy for them to go to war but not to have a party If your going to throw those particular stones then can you start on westminster first. Also Harry is a captain that means he is not exactly on minimum wage, should we blame him because he can't get to the front line. His (alleged) father Charles was a Party animal in his young days and during his time in the RN he would often give his bodygaurds the slip and head out for a night on the town with the boys.
I say leave him alone, he is a young man trying to get his kicks before he made to settle down and behave by his family.

Doing it is fine but the point is who is picking up the bill?

I saw one of the vids of him at the pool party thing and there seemed to be quite a few "men in dark glasses" no doubt on the government payroll. I'd also be surprised if he flew there cattle class on Virgin Atlantic.

It been all over the new here as well and IMO it's making a mountain out of a mole hill and the a-hole that released the video should be drawn and quartered.

Who gives a toss!

Even if he didn't pay for it who cares! Hes a royal im sure most stuff is free to him anyway. Just a benefit of being who he is. Same with celebs or anyone is of to do. Let him enjoy.

His mum died when he was young, he's worth over £10mm in inheritance from his mother's estate.

He's having fun and spending money he's earning because he'll be getting the inheritance when he hits 30.
He's not spending 'tax payers' money' on parties.

We'd all be doing the same.
Good for him - he'll always be the '2nd' prince and in his brother's shadow so he should enjoy the limelight, unlike Kate's ghastly sister who 'spends' her newly found social status by hanging our with gun-toting eurotrash...

The headlines should read: "Well-known person has fun on holiday". A total non-story, if every I saw one. Leave him to it, I reckon.

T*t for getting caught, but for doing it ? Nah - as said, he's a young lad in Vegas, good on him - wouldn't like to be him when he gets a bollocking from Liz though... Be hard to keep a straigh face with Philip giggling in the background :D

As for taxpayers paying for it... Woots is having a blast with the RAF in California right now IIRC, and his wages will be paying for any extracurricular activities. Harry doesn't have a mortgage or dependants and a £10m inheritance - also as Nosa says, he's a Captain, which I reckon will pay him at least £35k a year. I am pretty sure this wasn't an official royal visit so would have been paid for by him, not us.

I think he was only doing what most of us would be doing at his age! I would question his "minders" what possessed them to think it would be fine for the young royal to be there naked in the first place, and to not notice pictures being taken. IMHO his bodyguard should be sacked !

it's only news because of who he is.

personally I couldn't care less - and as others have said - refreshed to hear he's having some fun :D

All the (non)stories circulating about Prince Harry are indicative of the unadulterated sh!t that pours from the pages of newspapers these days.

Big News: "Somebody from Essex photographed drunk coming out of a nightclub" - or - "someone from Big Brother has a baby with someone who used to be married to someone else who was famous for getting her t*ts out".

Why the hell does anyone care? Surely there are more important things to put in the papers...? :headbang:
